Whitton's Mill has recently won two awards. The first is the top Royal Town Planning Institute award for the East Midlands. The organisation voted the former mill, which is now a warden-controlled complex of 45 self-contained flats as the winner of its overall award for planning achievement. The institute also named Whitton's Mill as the best regional example of a regenerated building in its annual awards.

The following pages show photos of some of the ground floor amenities available to residents.

The scheme, which is run by the Anchor Housing Association, was funded by grants from the East Midlands Development Agency, the Heritage Economic Regeneration Scheme, the National Lottery and the Housing Corporation. The £1.7m invested by West Lindsey District Council was recouped through the grants system.
